PlaqueOff is a completely natural product. It is a special type of seaweed called Ascophyllum Nodosum which has been discovered to have specific beneficial effects for oral care. It comes in a granulated form which is easily added to food every day. It is 100% plant based, rich in natural iodine, contains important vitamins and minerals and is free from artificial colours, preservatives, gluten and sugar. How does it work?
Unlike other methods of plaque control, ProDen PlaqueOff works systemically i.e. through the blood stream and saliva. It is proven to affect the ability of plaque to ‘stick’ to surfaces in the mouth and softens hard tartar deposits. The unique mechanism PlaqueOff uses does not kill bacteria, but prevents the formation of biofilm, a collection of bacteria that stick to one another. Biofilms form when bacteria adhere to surfaces in some form of watery environment and begin to excrete a slimy, glue like substance that can stick to all kinds of materials–including teeth.

Clinical studies have shown that the accumulation of substances on tooth enamel is reduced by up to 88% and that tartar has either disappeared completely or become very porous and easy to remove.
